Chief Marketing Officer
Department: Marketing Services
Reports To: CEO
Summary:
The Kessler Group is seeking a Chief Marketing Officer who will be a key member of the executive team. The CMO will be responsible for KG’s existing marketing programs as well as expanding into new channels and acquiring new clients. The CMO will have a strong orientation towards sales and business development with the ability to sell strategic marketing engagements to financial services clients. He or she will also have a demonstrated track record of innovation and an entrepreneurial spirit.
Responsibilities:
- Drive business development activities for the marketing services business
- Work with other senior KG managers to develop proposals for existing KG clients
- Provide day-to-day management oversight for project teams
- Collaborate with internal and external resources to develop new marketing service offerings
- Recruit the best possible network of experts to provide solutions for our clients
- Work closely with Kessler Capital, the principal investing subsidiary which invests in marketing activities, on behalf of our clients
Minimum Qualifications:
- Expertise in direct marketing with a particular emphasis on digital marketing, search marketing and social media
- A proven track record in selling and structuring marketing strategy and other marketing advisory projects
- Demonstrated marketing project management skills requiring oversight of both internal and external resources
- Excellent client management skills
- Expertise in financial services marketing
- Access to a network of best-in-class resources
- Experience with alternative distribution channels, such as group sales or face-to-face sales
- 15-20 years experience in a variety of marketing roles with increasing levels of responsibility
